|Nkazimulo Ngema, better known as TNS, is a DJ and music producer from South Africa. He was born in July 2000 and grew up in KwaZulu-Natal. His journey into music started early—he was just 12 years old when he began experimenting with sound and production. His big break came when he worked on two popular tracks, Club Controller and Banomoya, which helped push him into the spotlight.

Early Life
TNS didn’t have the easiest start in life. Unlike many well-known stars, he had a tough childhood—growing up on the streets, struggling to find food, and often having nowhere to sleep. But through it all, his deep love for music and strong will to keep pushing forward gave him hope. Even as a child, music was something he connected with.
He officially started his music journey in 2012, but it wasn’t until 2017 that things began to shift for him. That year, he crossed paths with Prince Kaybee, who helped introduce him to the mainstream scene. Career
Nkazimulo Ngema, popularly known as TNS, was born in Mandeni. From the young age of eight, he was already active in church choirs, which helped shape his musical journey. In 2010, he and his family moved to Durban, and just two years later, at only 12 years old, he started producing music.
His big break came in January 2018 when he was featured on the hit track “Club Controller” by Prince Kaybee and LaSoulMates. A year later, on January 25, 2019, he released his breakout single “My Dali” featuring Indlovukazi, which became a massive hit and earned triple platinum status in South Africa. Not long after, he dropped another single, “Umona,” featuring Mpumi, which was officially released on July 26 of the same year.
That same year, TNS signed a deal with Sony Music and went on to release his debut album Madlokovu: King of African House on September 20, 2019. Continuing to build on his success, he released the single “Zodwa Wabantu” in December 2020, which featured Zodwa Wabantu and Luqua.
On March 6, 2021, TNS released his second studio album Phupholethu. The following year, on January 28, 2022, he dropped “Sikelela,” a collaboration with Kasango and singer Bukeka, along with the music video. Later in the year, on October 27, he released “Summer Banger” featuring a lineup of talented artists including Sino Msolo, Mpumi, Da Muziqal Chef, Malumnator, and De Mthuda. He then followed up with an extended play titled King of African House, released on November 18, 2022.
